About the EMA

The Greenwood-Leflore Emergency Management Agency's mission is to coordinate activities that will preserve public health, safety, and peace in the face of disasters such as:

  • Hurricanes
  • Severe winter weather
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Tornadoes
  • Radiological disasters
  • Enemy actions
