Chief Executive Officer

Mayor Kenderick Cox is responsible for all functions of the executive branch of Greenwood's municipal government. Mayor Cox serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the City of Greenwood over five departments (administration, city clerk, fire, police, public works) and two divisions (human resources and inspection). He is in charge of all day-to-day operations and decision making and works closely with the City Council by proposing policy items that benefit the citizenry of Greenwood.

Chief Administrative Officer

Chief Administrative Officer Elizabeth Liddell works alongside Mayor Cox to coordinate and direct the operations of the City of Greenwood, including project administration, grant writing, policy research, planning and community development, and constituent service, among other functions. Liddell  is continuing to execute the City of Greenwood's Comprehensive Plan through policy implementation, project initiation, and code enforcement.

Executive Assistant 

Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Shaunteria Flowers, provides high-level administrative support to the Mayor, ensuring efficient operation of the executive office and serving as a primary liaison between city leadership and internal and external stakeholders.
