Amnesty Program

If you owe back fines to the City of Greenwood, you may be eligible to participate in Greenwood's Amnesty Program. Participants agree to pay their fines on a set schedule without the penalties originally assessed by the municipal court. To see if you qualify for this program, contact the municipal court.

INTERVENTION COURT (DRUG COURT)

Greenwood's Municipal Intervention Court, formerly referred to as Drug Court, handles cases involving drug-using offenders through comprehensive supervision, drug testing, treatment services and immediate sanctions and incentives. Successful completion of the treatment program results in dismissal of the charges, reduced or set aside sentences, and/or lesser penalties. Most importantly, graduating participants gain the necessary tools to rebuild their lives. For more information, please visit the State of Mississippi Judiciary's website or contact Greenwood's Intervention Court Coordinator, Ouida Martin, at (662) 299-6857 or (662) 453-3311 ext: 329.
