City Clerk Kim Williams and her staff of deputy clerks comprise the Office of the City Clerk, which is responsible for the city's accounting functions, including payroll, budgeting, annual auditing, and maintaining tax rolls, as well as voter registration, maintaining minutes and dockets, issuing privilege licenses and certain permits, and other functions.
The city clerk is the chief financial officer for the City of Greenwood. The city clerk's office is located on the first floor of Greenwood City Hall.
Staff
Betty Ware is the deputy clerk. She is responsible for payroll, grant paperwork, and privilege licenses, among other clerical duties.
Gloria Robinson, deputy clerk, deals with accounts payable, year-end reports, etc. and is the backup for payroll.
Tamira Brown, deputy clerk, cashier, and backup for the clerk of council.
