About the Chamber
Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce
The Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce is made up of hundreds of volunteers, including four officers, 20 directors, 12 committee chairmen and a group of Chamber Ambassadors. It is the goal of the Chamber each year to carry out a program of work for each of the 12 committees and to promote the social, economic and civic welfare of the citizens of Leflore County.
Mission Statement: The Greenwood-Leflore County Chamber of Commerce is made up of involved members who are committed to improving our community, attracting businesses, having fun, and providing benefits to ourselves and our community. We are supportive of endeavors to improve the quality of life, fair business, educational needs, quality service, recognition of achievement, and to these ends, we are self-targeted, provide a team spirit follow-up of which every Chamber member feels a part. As business leaders, our Chamber promotes financial soundness within, and without our organization. Our success is dependent upon self-directed programming that is creative and progressive - serving business and the community!
